About me

My journey into the realm of medical illustration began unexpectedly during my third year at university. It was in an art history class where my professor mentioned an intriguing course offered by our university—a course where students had the unique opportunity to draw from cadavers. As I listened, it dawned on me: this was the perfect fit for someone like me, someone fascinated by the intersection of art and science. I graduated from the University of Waterloo in 2022 with a BSc and minor in Fine Arts.

I worked as a scientific illustrator, eventually earning the honor of having my work featured on two journal covers. Broadening my horizon, I gained insight into the Biotech industry, where I spent approximately two years immersed in the realms of biology and marketing. I completed the Biomedical Visualization and Communication (BMVC) program at the University of British Columbia in 2023.

Today I run my own small business as a graphic designer and creator of wedding stationery. As well as a Biotech Research Associate & Marketing.
